Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. The Gita was imparted by the enlightened Hindu incarnation Sri Krishna to the warrior-prince Arjuna over 5000 years ago. Amazingly, the spiritual wisdom and life solutions offered in the Gita are so universal and current that it is even today used as a personal transformation guide in universities and management schools worldwide. In this talk on Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2, Verses 14 and 15, Paramahamsa Nithyananda reveals the formula for healing from samskaras (engraved mental patterns), as spoken by the enlightened master Krishna to the warrior prince Arjuna. Krishna reminds Arjuna that both pain and pleasure are temporary experiences, and surrendering to them diverts us from the truth of our potential being. This is not to say that we should suppress our body-mind sensations; rather, we need to approach them with a complete understanding of their impermanence. Once we awaken our intelligence and understand the nature of our attachments, they cease to grip us. This inner transformation blesses us with the basis for enlightenment. (talked instead of pain and pleasure but see them as hot and cold -- witness the body -- no unclutching -- just be a witness to what is happening in your body)
